Anastasiou Lioliou was born in Cyprus but has spent most of her childhood life in Saudi Arabia. That experience and her experience in motherhood have affected her understanding of life and what it means to be perform your femininity in a contemporary society and consequently her art practice. Her diverse background and her multi-disciplinary art practice led her to work on different media, redefining the conventional ways of art-making in a new narrative by incorporating materials in the work that are used in other disciplines. Rodoula has a long history in art education, with an expertise in teaching the IB (International Baccalaureate) and A-Level in Art and Design. She has exhibited in Cyprus and abroad
